Write a persuasive essay that talks about the need to install air-conditioning units in all
classrooms at Olivarez College.
Why do we need to install air-conditioning units in all classrooms in Olivarez
College? I would like to start with a quote states that “Flipping our classrooms into
active learning space really is important and having these convenient spaces where
people feel comfortable” – Megan Smith, it is important that students of Olivarez College
should feel comfortable when they are in the school because a learning institution is a
second home for those students. Therefore, the school need to install air-conditioning
units in all classroom.
Comfortable spaces are important for the students of Olivarez college, and the
school should prioritize this because comfortable spaces can help the students to learn
better. Also, having an air-conditioning unit can help regulating the temperature of the
classroom, students will be able to concentrate even when temperatures outside are
soaring. This also helps educators, who are able to offer more interesting and effective
lessons since they are no longer required to calm down a classroom full of overheated
and agitated students. Additionally, having an air-conditioning unit can be helpful in
preventing heat strokes. Moreover, air conditioners can significantly improve indoor air
quality and create a much healthier atmosphere because they are capable of flittering
out pollen, dust, and other allergens present in the environment. Secondly, having an
air-conditioning unit can help the us, students to concentrate because if the temperature
is too high, our brain stops concentrating and it focuses on cooling our body. This
means in a classroom that students will not concentrate as much as they should. The
brain works best in a comfortable temperature. By having higher concentration students
will work better which results in higher exam grades and overall grades. With the
students concentrating more in a cool classroom it allows lessons to become more
complex during the summer and the hottest time of the day also Philippines is a tropical
country which give us much reason to have an air-conditioning unit. Lastly, it will not
only benefit the students but it also benefits the faculty and other staffs of the Olivarez
College. Both students and teachers can work more efficiently in a room with a
comfortable temperature.
I would like to give an example, you are a student in a school without an air-
conditioning unit and that day is more than 40 degrees. As a student, how will you
concentrate on learning when the environment is hot. So, as a student of Olivarez
College, I am saying that it is important to me having a comfortable space and achieving
a comfortable space, students of Olivarez College, need an air-conditioning unit.
