Benzodiazepine estimation is a valuable aid in the evaluation of patients with unknown cause of CNS
depression. The detection time in urine is extremely variable and depends on factors such as type of drug
ingested, dose and duration of its usage.False positive results may be seen with Benzotropine, Clotrimazole,
Fenoprofen, Sertraline.
