PNP Logistics Data Information and Management System
(PNP LDIMS)
For the past years, intricacies on the accounting of the PNP
logistical assets as well as generation of reports and statistics has been
observed. Different systems and platforms, and inaccurate recording and
filing of data at the National Headquarters and lower units contribute to these
complexities.
At present, there is a need to come up with a custom-fitted logistics
information system that shall provide a systematic, accurate and timely
means of accounting and monitoring of all logistical assets. that will tie-up
the efforts of the NHQ Units/Offices, PROs, PPOs, CPOs, DOs, Mobile
Forces, CPS, and MPS most especially the Supply Accountable Officers
(SAO).
The basic theoretical structure of PNP Logistics Data Information and
Management System (PNP LDIMS) is to establish and maintain a central
database that can provide relevant information of all PNP logistical
assets in real-time. To include transaction monitoring, asset control,
movement, utilization, and availability of system generated reports relevant
for planning and decision-making.
Sufficiently equipped with efficient resources are vital to ensure
organizational readiness. Equipage includes firearms and ammunitions,
mobility for land, air and water, communications, operational office supplies,
modern and basic equipment, and facilities such as police stations, training
and recreational facilities, barracks, quarters, and real estate. As projected,
the PNP LDIMS will be integrated to Human Resource Management
Information System (HRMIS) and the PNP S.M.A.R.T. Policing.
