Tapayogkaramkriya

This kriya involves sitting in a meditative pose and bringing the palms together in front of the chest while extending the arms parallel to the ground. The wrists are pressed together and the hands are extended with fingers and palms spread wide apart as if pushing against a wall. While maintaining this hand position, the chant "Sat Nam" is repeated rhythmically for 11 minutes while looking slightly down at the tip of the nose. This kriya develops willpower and gives you the ability to understand your personality and regulate your thoughts, making it beneficial for those having difficulty completing projects or intentions.

Tapa Yog Karam Kriya

Sit in a meditative pose. Bring the palms together and extend the arms straight forward parallel to the ground. Press the wrists together and extend the hands, spread the palms and fingers as wide apart as you can, as though pushing against a wall. The eyes are slightly open looking down at the tip of the nose. Begin rhythmically chanting: Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Wahe Guru. Continue for 11 minutes. Comments: We can improve our caliber to deliver our intentions and act effectively by developing a will that takes us past the demoting habits that interfere with our conscious efforts. When we guide ourselves and are no longer at the mercy of subconscious habits, then we become the master of the Self. But overcoming old habits and starting new ones requires strong nerves and willpower. This kriya develops willpower and gives you the capacity to understand the elements of your personality. You can know what you are thinking and regulate the flow of those thoughts. This kriya is a perfect sadhana for those who have difficulty completing projects and fulfilling intentions.
