ABOUT THE EVENT
Balikpapan Industrial Expo 2023 is the only event in the
Kalimantan region dedicated to the Oil & Gas, Offshore,
Mining and Power industry strategically located at the heart
of the industry!
The international event is scheduled to host more than 4000
visitors and more than 100 exhibiting brands looking to
penetrate the Kalimantan industrial market.
An annual event hosted in Balikpapan, the event would reach
key decision makers, end users and C-Level management
based in the Kalimantan region.

Mining Industry
The mining sector in Indonesia is making their way up to be one of the
potential leading sectors in Indonesia. According to the Institute for Development
of Economics and Finance (INDEF), the mining sector is becoming one of the
potential sectors from Indonesia, alongside with the increase of the
commodity prices from the mining industry.
The Balikpapan Coal Terminal (BCT) and the rampant mining activities in
the East Kalimantan region exemplifies the growth of this industry.
Oil & Gas And Offshore Industry
Balikpapan is highly acclaimed as the most interesting oil town in Indonesia,
and possibly in the world. It is at the center of oil and gas exploration and
production activities that have been taking place in East Kalimantan since
1897 when the first oil well was drilled in Balikpapan.
The presence of its massive offshore potential and the recently upgraded
Pertamina Oil refinery in Balikpapan has proven the massive potential of
this segment which is slated for more growth in 2023!
