KWIKBRIX is manufactured
out of materials that are
readily available and accepted
by all communities
throughout Africa.
The use of this conventional
material for the
manufacturing of KWIKBRIX
also means that professional
entities such as architects,
building inspectors, engineers,
municipalities and banks will
readily accept this as a
building material.
AFFORDABLE
KWIKBRIX construction is a
much quicker process – on
average it is 16 times faster than
conventional construction.
Without the need for high-
waged skilled masons (except for
base course), and with the speed
of construction, building costs
are lower than for standard
construction.

ECO-FRIENDLY
In areas where timber is scarce &
expensive, KWIKBRIX has
environmental advantages.
KWIKBRIX offers limited wastage,
only 3% on-site wastage as
compared to at least 12% wastage
on conventional building methods.
A typical KWIKBRIX building site
generates no more than four
wheelbarrows of construction waste
STRUCTURAL
The structural ability and
durability of KWIKBRIX is far
greater than for comparable
timber constructions. Grout
holes provide the means to
insert steel reinforcement rods
in vulnerable areas of the
building.
KWIKBRIX can be made to a
variety of Mpa strengths
ranging from 4MPa – 30MPa.
PERFORMANCE
KWIKBRIX is suited for construction in areas of high wind,
tropical storms, cyclones and earthquakes
KWIKBRIX walls are waterproof as a result of the
specialized skim-plaster
KWIKBRIX is a dimensionally stable material, it will not
expand nor contract as a result of moisture content

KWIKBRIX is invulnerable to termites, borer, fungi, mould
and other organisms
KWIKBRIX is incombustible, it will not burn and will not
contribute fuel to spread fires

EMPLOYMENT
KWIKBRIX offers huge
opportunities for employment.
The KWIKBRIX machines
themselves create 8 jobs,
however some 80 jobs are
created as a result of the bricks
that the KWIKBRIX machine
manufactures
MANUFACTURING
KWIKBRIX can be manufactured on site which eliminates
transport cost. One KWIKBRIX machine is capable of
producing 100 000 bricks per month (enough bricks for 28 x
40m² houses)
MANUFACTURING ADD-ONS
The KWIKBRIX manufacturing
plant can be supplied with a
variety of pan mixers – their
size dependant on the volume
of bricks that are needed to be
manufactured.
MANUFACTURING ADD-ONS
The KWIKBRIX manufacturing
plant also has a range of skip
hoists available, which will assist
in the processing of concrete
mixing prior to it being moulded
into the final KWIKBRIX product.
A range of paver and roof tile
manufacturing machines are also
available.

KWIKSKIM
A waterproof, fibre reinforced
thin skin plaster which is applied
at only 3 – 5mm thick.
Quick and easy, minimal skill
required.
Impregnated with final colour
which eliminates the need for a
costly painting process.
Ideal for low cost housing
projects
KWIKGRIP
Used in applications where a
“dip & build” application is
desired as opposed to
mortar-less construction.
KwikGrip is high in strength
and bond capabilities, being
some ten times stronger
than conventional mortar.
KWIKPLAST
When mixed with cement
KwikPlast produces an ultra-
lightweight, thermal insulating
and fireproof screed capable of
keeping structures cool in
summer and warm in winter.
Exceptional fire and heat
resistance.
Our hopper applicator allows for
100m² of plastering to be
achieved daily with one
operator
KWIKFRAME
A full range of steel window and
door frames designed to fit with
KWIKBRIX without having to cut
the bricks.
This enhances the speed of the
build and is mainly suited for low
cost housing developments.
Since each of these are supplied
with steel reinforcement, no
concrete lintels are required in the
KWIKBRIX construction process.
KWIKTRUSS
KwikTruss is a lightweight
zinc/alum steel roof truss
support system specially
adapted for use with the
KWIKBRIX building system.
This corrosion proof
lightweight steel roofing truss
system enhances the speed of
construction enabling the
average installation to be
completed within a few
hours.
KWIKCEILING
The pre-cut (no wastage) PVC
ceiling panels are lightweight and
easy to install.
These panels eliminate the need
for screeding or painting.
These PVC ceiling panels are fire
resistant, water resistant, easy to
maintain and are anti-fungal and
vermin resistant.
KWIKTHERM
KwikTherm is made from
80% recycled newspaper
which is totally fire
retardant and insect and
vermin resistant.
KwikTherm is the
perfect solution for
roofing and ceiling
insulation helping
keep the home cool
in summer and
warm in winter.
KWIKWATT
A full range of pre-wired light
switches and plug boxes are
available, supplied complete
with cover plates.
Pre-wired distribution boards
are also supplied to the exact
