I. OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson the students must have:
Identify the historical and geographical contexts of the different religions in the world;
Discover how religions originated and developed into living traditions; and
Show respect and understanding on someone’s belief
II. CONTENT STANDARD: The learners demonstrate understanding of historical and
geographical contexts of the different religions.
III. PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learners conduct a group activity that demonstrates the
influence of a religion in a certain culture.
IV. LEARNING COMPETENCY: The learners should be able to cite regions and places where
specific religions evolved.
V. CONTENT: Interconnectedness of geography, culture and religion.
Values Integration: Giving awareness of someone’s and appreciates each religion
