“Many” and “much” have got the same meaning, but we use “many” with things we can count. For example, we count pens - 1 pen, 2 pens, 3 pens
etc. We can count books, chairs, etc. Generally, the things we can count take an “s” in the plural. “People” is an exception. It has got no “s”, but we

My best friend Brenda

Hi, my name is Rachel. I am twenty years old and today I want to talk about my best friend Brenda. She was my classmate
and she is twenty years old too. We attended a very big school near Quevedo. We shared the same desk and loved the
same school subjects. Our favourite lessons were Music and Physical Education.
I was very good at tennis and she was very good at volleyball. She played volleyball at our school team. We both had a busy
life. We always got up at half-past five and at six o’clock her father took us to school by car. They lived next door to us, so after
school, we always did our homework, walked our pets and played together. Our classes started at quarter past seven and

My uncle's farm

Last winter Peter went to the countryside for two weeks. He stayed at his uncle's farm and helped him. He worked very hard
but he liked it because he loved to spend time with his cousin Erick. Every morning he woke up at five o'clock, first, he collected
the eggs and fed the chickens, then he had breakfast at quarter to six and after breakfast, he helped his aunt with the house
