Orientation for Teachers on New Work Setup

The Kawayan Elementary School in Leyte, Philippines held an orientation on February 5, 2022 for its teachers and head regarding the alternative work arrangements for limited face-to-face classes. During the session, revisions to safety protocols according to Department Memorandum 071, 2022 were discussed and suggestions were considered for implementing the arrangements. All 5 participants were actively engaged. Documentation of the session was challenging as teachers prepared their classrooms. Financial shortages for preparations were also foreseen but the school believes unity can overcome obstacles. Cooperation and participation are seen as keys to sustainability and success going forward.

I. TITLE: Conduct of Orientation to Teaching Personnel on the


Alternative Work Arrangement that will be
Implemented During the Limited Face-to-Face Classes

February 5, 2022
III. SUMMARY
During the academic break of learner last January 31,
to February 5, 2022 we the school teachers and school
head conducted the School-Based LAC Session as
mandated by the department. On the third and the last
day of the said school-based LAC Sessions on
February 05, 2022, we conducted the orientation to all
school personnel on the Alternative Work arrangement
and planning in the implementation of Limited Face-to-
face classes.

There are some revision on school safety protocols in


adherence to DM 071, 2022 specifically on the
requirements that the school need to comply.
Suggestions and recommendations were raised and
considered for the realization of the said preparation.

IV. ACTUAL TARGETS and OUTCOMES

The target of this activity were the 4 teachers and the


school head and considered a success were in, all are
participating actively.

V. PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED

Documentation is hard to manage to the fact that


teachers were getting busy in setting up their
respective classrooms. It is foreseen that there is also
a possible financial shortage expected in the
preparation activities but then we believed nothing is
impossible if everyone are united and will do together.

VI. LESSONS LEARNED


“Possibilities comes with unity.” Cooperation and
active participation is the key to success.

VII. SUSTAINABILITY/REFLECTION

Working together with a shared vision,is the


realization of all plans and actions.
