1. INTRODUCTION:

Pakistan Railways gives a critical technique for Transportation in the farthest corners of the
country and brings them closer for Business, visiting, excursion and preparing. It has been a
staggering fusing force and structures the presence line of the country by considering its
prerequisites for gigantic degree advancement of people and payload. In Pakistan's railroad
Peshawar to Karachi track was the first which was based on a length of 1872km in nineteenth
century from 1861 to 1900. In the first place the track was completely operational yet with the
progression of time the current track was not up to the degree of meeting Peshawar city locally. A
portion of the nearby tracks comes in air terminal and markets. Because of encroachments on the
sides of railroad tracks the railroad activities are upset as a result of the nearby merchants doing
organizations on and the sides of the track which has lead us to numerous mishaps and influencing
the functionality of the tack. Peshawar track is currently restricted to Saddar railroad station.
Staying everywhere on the neighborhood track in Peshawar isn't operational. Furthermore, the
track passing Karkhano to Afghanistan which was one of the significant wellspring of travel
exchange among Pakistan and Afghanistan is done.

2. PROBLEMS:

Peshawar railroad track is confronting a great deal of issues from numerous many years which
incorporates the principal issue of non-upkeep of the neighborhood track. Tracks are harmed at
different focuses in primary courses of Peshawar. The old track going through air terminal of
Peshawar is a significant issue of genuine worry as the air terminal organization isn't permitting
the train to utilize that track. Markets are opened on the and close to the railroad track which
wrecked the track and its upkeep. Because of substantial traffic passing on the tracks doesn't permit
the train to spend effectively ordinarily it prompts mishaps. The old arrangement of entryway
passes for train on streets of hefty traffic is one of the principle issue of mishaps and deferring in
moving toward season of the train to its objective on schedule.

3. OBJECTIVES:

The fundamental target is the recharging and restoration of existing railroad track of Peshawar. To
complete the protection from trains going on neighborhood tracks of Peshawar. Additionally,
moving of the track to less populated region and less created, and human settled zones. To fulfill
the worldwide guideline sizes of the railroad tracks to begin progressed rail lines offices. To make
the track more encouraged for the general population to set aside their time and cash and make the
public fascination in use Pakistan railroad. Facilitating of reach of public to their objections from
neighborhood stations.

2. Existing infrastructure of railway in Peshawar.

3. Proposed alternatives for rehabilitation.

4. Economic factors.

5. Availability of local stations at main locations.

6. Comparison between existing public transport facilities and our proposed solutions.

7. Sustainable remodeling of railway track.


4. METHODOLOGY:

. 1. Existing track analysis:


First we will visit to primary concerns of the track for finding the
imprints for doing handle overview of our undertaking
2. Mapping through GIS:
We will play out all the exercises with the assistance of GIS through
aerial photography or aerial survey.
3. Identifying confined spots:
Distinguishing proof of the relative multitude of harmed, burst and
non-functional spots of the track.
4. Solution to remodel and re-design of each spot:
In the wake of finding the imprints and getting
the real factors, defects, data and subtleties we will make the checked focuses in 3d and 2d.
5. Comparison in terms of cost:
Contrasting and other public vehicle ventures like BRT as far as
development, upkeep and benefit to association. Furthermore, charge to overall population.
5. PROJECT SCHEDULE:
