Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Pursuant to Republic Act (RA) No. 9155 otherwise known as Governance of Basic Education
Act of 2010, RA No. 10533 otherwise known as Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013. The
Department of Education (DepEd) issues the enclosed policy on the Learning Action Cell (LAC), a K
to 12 Basic Education Program School-Based Continuing Professional Development Strategy for the
Improvement of Teaching and Learning, the Science Department shall conduct LAC session focusing
on “Capacity Building and Professional Development through LAC Session”. The objectives of
this lesson are the following:
1. Understand and explore the process of LAC Session
2. Cite the development of LAC Session from the selection of topic to discuss to develop a
session guide as a LAC facilitator.
3. Explain the purpose, objective and the process of LAC Session in the new normal setting
of educating teacher participants.
4. Design a simple LAC Session Guide using the template given by the facilitator.
In this regard, we would like to seek approval from your good office to conduct Science
Department Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session on this coming March 9, 2023, Thursday, 9 AM
– 12 NN @ Principal-Led Bldg. Room 101 (Computer Laboratory). Moreover, we would like to
invite you to give us a short message of encouragement about the LAC Session Program.
Attached herewith is the list of Technical Working Group (TWG), Training Matrix,
Attendance Sheet, LAC Profile and LAC Facilitation Information Sheet. Hoping for your positive
response about this matter. Thank you and more power.
