OBJECTIVES

General Objective:

After 48 hours (2 WEEKS) of clinical exposure in National Center for Mental Health we will be
able to enhance our Knowledge, Skills and Attitude in providing quality and adéquate care with
psychiatric patient.

Specific Objective:

 Patient Care Objectives

o Individual supportive, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapies


in addition to exposure to family, couples, group and other evidence-based
psychotherapies

o Providing care and treatment for the chronically mentally ill with appropriate
psychotherapeutic and psychosocial rehabilitation interventions

 Nursing intervention Objectives

o To identify strengths, deficiencies, and limits of the patient

o To set learning and improvement goals

o To identify and perform appropriate learning activities

o Systematically analyze practice using quality improvement methods, and


implement changes with the goal of practice improvement

o Incorporate formative evaluation feedback into daily practice
