EMAT technology is an ultrasonic testing method that differs from the traditional piezoelectric transducers in the way the sound is generated. An
EMAT consists of a magnet & a coil of wire and relies on electromagnetic acoustic interaction for elastic wave generation. Using Lorentz forces &
magnetostriction, the EMAT & the metal test surface interact & generate an acoustic wave within the material. The material being inspected is its
own transducer, eliminating the need for liquid couplant.

LLX Series
The LLX series is an air cooled, high frequency constant potential generator. It is dedicated to high
precision applications like aerospace where specific requirements & speed of inspection are needed.
These units are CP type & are controlled by a DC1 or Hand-XD and can be used in combination with
digital detectors.

CERAM Series
The series is made of 3 different generators based on a ceramic insert with a 100% duty cycle. The
generators are specifically designed to be operated in difficult environments with a constant output.
All units have to be combined to one of the two available control units, CF2000 or Hand-X and are
