LOI Gold Merit

Gold Merit (L) Limited, located in Labuan, Malaysia, sent a letter of intent to PT. Abhiseka Sarwadha on March 23, 2010 regarding their interest in purchasing 40,000 metric tons +/- 10% of steam coal. The coal must meet certain quality specifications for calorific value, moisture, ash content, volatile matter, sulfur content, and size. Payment will be made through an irrevocable letter of credit payable at sight upon receiving a final certificate of origin and draft contract from the supplier.

Gross CV                                  : 6300 kcal/kg min rejection below 6100 kcal/kg
T. Moisture (ar)                      : 16% max between 16-18% penalty. Above 18% rejection
Inherent Moisture (adb)         : 10% max
Ash (adb)                                 : 10% max between 10-12% penalty. Above 12% rejection
V.M. (adb)                               : 42% max between 42-45% penalty. Above 45% rejection
T. Sulphur (adb)                      : 1% max. Above 1% rejection
HGI                                           : 40 min
Size                                          : 0-50 mm 90% min
Quantity                                  : 40.000mts +/- 10 pct at buyer’s
option ( if the producer can allocated 50.000mts with loading
second half of March 2010 appreciated)
Payment                                  : Irrevocable LC payable at sight
 
 
Kindly issue FCO and draft contract ASAP upon receiving this LOI.
