Student Smart Card System Overview

This document describes a proposed student smart card project for Khyati School of Engineering. The smart card would contain a unique student ID that could be scanned to access documents stored on a server and make payments from a linked student account at places like the library and cafeteria on campus. In the future, additional documents and security features could be added. ❖ Abstract: This card is useful for the student in places like library, canteen and stationary shops. When the
card is inserted the unique id stored

CLASS DIAGRAM:
Introduction:
 The Smart card is isolated card which contains a
barcode. This card is useful for storing student’s
documents and make transactions.
 With the help of card, we also submit the
important documents of the students.
 When we scan the unique id stored in card, which
DFD LEVEL 0:
is sent to the server wherever the student’s
documents are stored, then the needed documents
are directly sent from the server to wherever
needed and it is easy to access the documents.

Conclusion:
On the implementation and completion of the project students have to just carry his own smart card in
college campus for payment of dues in canteen, library, etc.
There is no need for students to carry cash when paying for various amenities. The students used smart
card to buy things.

Future Scope:
Documents will be added. Enhanced security. Data can also be stored on cloud database. Additional features such
as ID proof will be added when the card is scanned.
