In line with the increasing cases of improper waste disposals, wetter storms, deforestation, and
worsening floods across the country, where most low-lying areas are frequently inundated by storms,
although this occurs rarely in our province, we cannot sit idly by and watch how our environment is slowly
being destructed by natural disasters and human carelessness.
We, the 2nd year BS Accountancy students aim to carry out the duties of assisting the student body.
As our second semester is nearing its end, we would like to leave an indelible mark as an advocate for
environmental reformation. Therefore, we think of a way how we should start this through which the
benefits will spread to the whole community and the municipalities of Cagayan, and tree planting and clean-
up drive would be the things that we must accomplish first to respond to the call of Mother Earth. As
members of the CSUan community, we are committed to social responsibility through caring for and
conserving the environment. We stay dedicated and encourage the community to collaborate in order to
achieve a community-centric, advocacy-driven, and valuable activity for everybody.
Relative thereto, we respectfully request permission from your office to allow us to undertake a tree
