(students sits)

Teacher: So another pleasant day means another lesson.

So now, Do you have any idea of what are we going to
talk about for today?

Students: No ma’am.

Teacher: Okay so I will give you a clue. (writes the

jumbled letters on the board) Okay so now, do you have
any idea?

(silence)

Teacher: Ohh so you still don’t have any idea? Another

clue…. This communicative style is the opposite of the
intimate style. So to freshen up your minds, in what way
can you use intimate communicative style?

S1: Ma’am! (raises her hand)

Teacher: Yes Abcdee?

S1: This communicative style is use when you are talking

to a person who is close to you ma’am.

Teacher: Exactly, Very good. So going back, the clue in

here is CONSULT. C-O-N-S-U-L-T.
S3: Ma’am! (raises his hand)

Teacher: Yes John Paul?

S3: Consultative Communicative Style ma’am.

Teacher:Very good. So what is consultative

communicative style? It is the opposite of the intimate
style because it is used among people who do not share
common experiences or meaning. In short, this is use for
the word itself. To consult. An example is A lawyer and a
client, A leader and its Constituents….. What more??

S4: Ma’am! (raises his hand)

Teacher: Yes Carl?

S4: A doctor and a patient or client ma’am.

Teacher: Very good. What else?

S5: (raises his hand)

Teacher: Yes Jude?

S5: A teacher and a student ma’am.

Teacher: Okay, very good. I guess you understood the

lesson very very well. So for your assignment, write an
example of Consultative Communicative style, whether a
conversation of a teacher and student, a doctor and the
patient and etc. Please put it in a short bond paper, to be
pass by tomorrow. Understood?

Students: Yes ma’am!

Teacher: By the way, can you pass your assignments

given by yesterday.
S7: (raises his hand) Do we have any assignment
yesterday ma’am? I was absent ma’am.

Teacher: Oh I see, Abcdee please collect all of your

assignments.

S1: We don’t have any assignments ma’am.

Teacher: Oh I’m sorry, I thought we have an assignment.

Teacher: So that’s all for today, please remember to do

your assignment. Goodbye.

Students: Goodbye ma’am, Thank you for teaching us.

*( The next teacher arrives)

Teacher: Good morning class.

Students: Good morning ma’am, its nice to see you.

Teacher: Take your seats.

(students sits)

Students: Yes ma’am.

Teacher: Okay so bring it out now because you will do

your performance task on Health.

Dezree: What are we going to do ma’am?

Teacher: You will make a poster slogan about how can

you contribute on to the environmental problems that
we are facing right now.

JP: To be placed at a bond paper ma’am?

Teacher: Yes, short bond paper. Do you still have any
questions?

Johnrey: Any of the environmental problems ma’am?
