Part 1 (3 minutes)

First of all, we'd like to know something about you, so I'm going to ask you some questions about
yourselves.

Part 2 (4 minutes)
In this part I would like you to discuss a topic on your own for about a minute, I would also like
you to answer a question about your partner’s topic. There are two questions to answer and two
photographs to help you.

Timing is very important so please do not worry if at any time we interrupt you.

TO CANDIDATE A

Part 1: It’s your turn first. Here are your photographs. They show people working in different
types of offices.

I would like you to say why people might choose to work in offices like these and how it might
affect their work.

Interlocutor: In this part of the test, I’d like you to talk together and discuss the impact of online
shopping for about 3 minutes. Here is a question and some ideas to help you.

Interlocutor: In this part of the test I’m going to ask both of you some questions. You will also
be asked to react to your partner’s opinions, so please pay attention.

● Do you think the internet makes us more or less sociable?why?
