S.A.S News We have a lot of fun that is in store for you this month. Be sure to put Saturday the 22nd on your calendar for the Fall festival. There will be games, crafts, a Haunted House, a fall meal of chili, cornbread, and apple crisp and lots of volunteers to meet and get to know. Enjoy our Fall Scavenger Hunt. Be a contestant or part of the audience for our version of the cooking channels show Cupcake Wars. With things getting cool outside we will be warming things up with a Reggae birthday party. There are lots of Halloween activities to celebrate the holiday. A trip to a pumpkin patch, Halloween crafts, a Halloween party, pumpkin decorating, Goblin races, Halloween bingo and a Halloween dance are a sure way to get in the mood for Halloween night. Its that time of year to start thinking about the Christmas pageant so come to the pageant planning meeting with your input to help make it an awesome event. Rent some bowling shoes and bowl some games at Cave Springs Bowling Alley. Enjoy the nice crisp Fall weather with a walk in Suson Park. Sign up and join us for this months Fun Fall activities.

10/14 Movie-Rio an animation comedy 10/14 Hayride and bonfire Take a hayride through the park and roast hotdogs and marshmallows over an open fire as part of this fall tradition. Dress for the weather! We will meet at the flagpole at 5:20 and leave the Main Campus at 5:30 sharp. If meeting us at the Fort Zumwalt Park be at the park by 6:00, park on the side of the road and walk to the new restrooms on the west side to be picked up by the wagon. We must be on time! 10/17 Pumpkin patch outing- We will be making our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. We will meet at the flagpole at 3:15. The Consumer fee is 3.00 for admission plus money for a pumpkin of their choice which starts at 1.00 and goes up in price according to size.

There will be a special haunted house walk through created out of the training room. 10/24 All about Halloween Learn all about this fun and sometimes scary holiday. 10/25 Movie Out You will be contacted a few days before the outing to find out the show choice and time. Bring funds for refreshments; tickets can be handled electronically. 10/27 Christmas Pageant Planning Meeting Yes, we can go ahead and start thinking about Christmas! Share your ideas about what kind of pageant we should have this year. Characters? Music? Readings? Costumes?
