ACCA-Equivalence Letter

This letter from ACCA provides information about ACCA qualifications to Mr. Ahmed Saeed of Gujranwala, Pakistan. It explains that ACCA, a UK-based chartered body, offers the same professional qualifications globally through centralized assessment, so a student's location does not impact the standard. It also notes that UK ENIC, the UK agency responsible for evaluating international qualifications, equates the ACCA Qualification to a UK master's degree regardless of student location. The letter includes web links for more information on ACCA's recognition at master's degree level on national qualification frameworks.

Dear Mr. Saeed

To whom it may concern

ACCA is a recognised chartered body in the UK, offering professional qualifications. The same qualifications
using the same controls are offered globally and assessment is carried out by ACCA centrally. Therefore,
location of students is not relevant to the standard of ACCA's qualifications.

ACCA's Council is responsible under its UK Royal Charter to the UK Privy Council. Under the Companies Act
2006, ACCA is also responsible to the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) for the regulation of statutory auditors,
making ACCA a Recognised Supervisory Body (RSB). ACCA is also recognised as a Recognised Qualifying
Body (RQB) under the UK Companies Act 2006 and this means that ACCA has to set professional examinations
which are at least equivalent in standard to those required to obtain a degree from a UK university.

UK ENIC (formerly UK NARIC) is the National Agency, managed on behalf of the UK

Government, responsible for providing information, advice and expert opinion on vocational, academic and
professional skills and qualifications from over 200 countries worldwide. UK ENIC equates the ACCA
Qualification to a UK 'Taught Master's' degree no matter the location of the student. Attestation of the ACCA
Qualification's comparability to UK Master's Degree Level, is available from UK ENIC at the following webpage:

https://www.enic.org.uk/Qualifications/SOC/

ACCA has secured recognition of the ACCA Qualification at master's degree level on a number of national and
regional qualification frameworks. More information on the recognition of ACCA and ACCA's qualifications is
available to download on the following ACCA webpage:
