Sub: Eligibility of TA/DA during training at NSCBTTC, Kalyani & CTTC, Salt Lake
Ref:l) This office ltr. No. ABB-3016/FA/RTTC/L/9 Dated 11.02.2019

Kindly refer to the above subject. As per above letter, it was clarified that Kalyani &
Bidhannagar are come under Urban agglomerations of Kolkata. Accordingly vide O.M. dated 0308.2006
officers/officials deputed for training to the institutions which are located within the Urban Agglomeration of
Government servant's headquarters are not entitled to any TA/DA irrespective of distance. Further it is also stated
that Transport Allowance_ would not be admissible where TA/DA are allowed and TA/DA rate would be as per BSNL
TA/DA rate during specific training session.

In this connection, it is again instructed to follow the BSNL TA/DA norms and if required the wrongly
paid TA/DA to the trainees are to be recovered from salary of Jan,2020. Responsibility would be fixed to the erring
officers in case of non recovery.

The order is issued as per order of CGM/CTD.

As per constituents of Urban agglomerations -1991 census, Kalyani & Bidhannagar come under Urban
agglomerations of Kolkata. Accordingly vide O.M. date~ 03.08.2006, officers/officials deputed for training to the institutions
which are located within the Urban Agglomeration of Government servant's headquarters are not entitled to any TA/DA
irrespective of distance.

In this connection, I am directed to request to all AO(Cash & W&B)s & AO/BAs (Pay bills & Employees
claim) of Calcutta Telephone District to observe the above mentioned prescribed guide line of TA/DA during training at
NSCBTTC/Kalyani & CTTC/Salt Lake scrupulously and simultaneously verify such cases, if any, made earlier under
intimation to this office unit wise for necessary compliance to the competent authority.
