Title/Event: Wandering Minds: Science Mobile Exhibit


Date: May 25, 2023
Participants: Pasig National High School Science Teachers and Grade 7-12 Students

Highlights:

Experiential learning is authentic, first-hand, sensory-based learning. Experiential


activities explore, touch, listen to, watch, move things, dissemble, and reassemble. Learning consists of
grasping an experience and then transforming it into an application or result (Kolb, 1983).

Last May 25, 2023, Wandering Minds showcase a Science Mobile Exhibit at Pasig National High
School. It was participated by learners from Grade 7-12. Wandering Minds is an exhibition featuring
many science-related displays. A mobile exhibit is a small-travelling exhibition that can be taken to
various locations for presentations. This display ranges from unique trips to critical events and

exhibits. Each exhibit explains and demonstrates how incredible science and technology are. It
illustrates the magic that lies behind specific technologies and devices as well as how it influences

society. The aim of Wandering Minds is to provide children and teenagers with a top-notch mobile
exhibit that will engage them in experiential learning and enhance the concepts they have studied in
school.

Learners was able to experience science manipulatives that allow students to awaken their
curiosity and multisensory learning skills. In addition, they also learn how 3D cinema works and were
able to wear 3D eyeglasses. Another attraction is the telescope viewing and chroma key workshop.
This exhibit proves that Science is amazing.
