DEPARTMENTAL NEWS
In the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, General Surgery Final MS examination, held in May-June, 2022, for
the batch 2019-2022, Dr. Ronit Roy from this department secured the 1st rank. Beside regular post graduate
academic activities, the department of General Surgery organized the Live Workshop for the Annual Conference of
The West Bengal Chapter of The Association of Surgeons of India on 28th July, 2022. Eminent Surgeons from All over
India, operated in that Workshop. Another Live workshop on Breast Surgery was conducted on 1st July, 2022 by the
Department of General Surgery.
