TROUBLE SHOOTING

1. No power-up - Check for incorrect connections or blown fuses.

2. No RPM indication or shiftlight array illumination - Check tacho connection, shiftlight
indication point settings. Check to see if you have the correctly connected the yellow
tacho/RPM sensing wire. Check your vehicles handbook and wiring diagram to ensure the
correct ignition coil signal wire has been used.
3. No gear selection indication - Check both tacho/RPM and speed sensor connections.
Also check the `speed sensor’ fitment and operation. Ensure only a stainless steel or
aluminium bolt is used to secure the speed sensor into position.
4. No speed indication - Check that the speed signal indicator flashes in unison with wheel
rotation when you are in set-up mode. Check the speed sensor wire connections, also check

the `speed sensor’ fitment and gap from it’s target. Ensure only a stainless steel or
aluminium bolt is used to secure the speed sensor into position. Make sure the speed
sensor cannot see the hole in the middle of the bolt as it could cause double triggers.
Factory Race Dash Systems
5. Incorrect temperature indication - Check that the temperature sensor has been attached
to the thermostat housing bolt or engine head surface. Check the temperature sensor for TLS-MD3-12
damage during installation. Where possible try to mount the temperature sensor where it has
a free flow of air around it as enclosed areas can effect the accuracy.
6. No auxiliary indications - Check that the corresponding Micro Dash sensing wires are
connected to the motorcycle/vehicles signal wires correctly.
