1. This paper consists of3 parts-Part A (60 marks), Part B (lOmarks) & Part C (30 marks).
2. ALL q~estions are compulsory.

4. No clarification will be provided during the course of the examination on any technical/legal matter.

6. All references to. "Act" and "Rules" may be read as The Patents Act. 1970 and the .Patent Rules 2003

Part A
Part A comprises of 60 marks and consists of 30 multiple choice questions with one option correct of 2
marks each.
