ATAS on Windows
The ATAS platform is available for Windows only. The Trading
Pit is offering a free license for all our traders that register for
one of our Futures Challenges.
This guide will give you a quick explanation of the download
and installation process, setting up our connections, and the
removal of ATAS for Windows.

Install ATAS
Follow the steps below to download and install ATAS for Windows.
1 In order to Download ATAS and get your free license, log into your Client Area and go to your
Dashboard.

2 Then go to your Download Platforms tab and select Download ATAS.
3 To get your Free License, fill out your Name, Email and Phone number and click on Get ATAS.

4 Now you will receive an email from ATAS with your licensed credentials for your
platform login. These credentials will be valid for 90 days. If they expire, you can
renew your license by doing the exact same procedure through our website.
5 To start the platform installation, double-click
on the setup.exe file you have downloaded.
A new pop-up will appear for you to select the
language you prefer. Click OK to be taken to the
next screen.
6 A window with the program installation wizard
will open.
Before proceeding with further installation, you
must read the license agreement. If everything
suits you, select “I accept the agreement” and
click Next.

7 The program will offer a default installation
directory on the “C” drive. You can also choose
where you want to save it, by clicking on the
Browse button and selecting the folder you
want to save it in. Then click on Next.
8 The program will prompt you to select the
version of the platform that you would like to
install.
Click on the drop-down menu and select the
“Latest” version from the list of options and
click Next.

9 The program will prompt you to select a folder
in the Start menu.
Check the box if you do not wish the folder to be
created in the Start menu. Then click Next.
10 We suggest you check the box if you want the
program to create a shortcut on the desktop.
This way you can have faster access to the
platform when starting it.

11 After that, a window will appear with the
settings you have chosen. In case you wish to
change something, click Back, if everything
looks right, click Install.
12 The installation process will then begin. Do not
click on anything during this stage.

13 Once the installation is complete, check the box
next to the option Launch the ATAS platform
and click Finish.
The program should automatically start
once you have clicked Finish. If it does not
automatically launch, simply double-click on
the shortcut created and the ATAS platform will
open.
14 Now you are ready to log in to your ATAS
platform. To do so, use your Login and
Password that were sent to you by ATAS via
email after your registration and select the
Server manually or leave it on Auto (all servers
are the same). Check the box Remember if you
do not wish to enter your Login and Password
again and click Connect.

15 Once you log in, you will have access to the ATAS platform, but you will not have any data yet, as you
need to now connect your TTP account to the platform. Before you connect your TTP account to ATAS,
you must accept the Rithmic Terms and Conditions from here. Check out this FAQ article if you need
any assistance with that.
Now you can connect your account by heading over to the Connections tab or Feed Source as shown
below.

16 A new pop-up will appear, click the Add
button on the bottom left to add a new
connection.
17 From the new pop-up, you will need to
select your data provider. If you got the
ATAS license from our page, then choose
“TheTradingPit Rithmic”.
If you logged in using your own license, then
choose “Rithmic” from the options and click
Next.
18 A new pop-up will appear so you can log in
to your TTP account. To do so, enter your User
ID and Password that we sent you via email,
set your server to TheTradingPit Rithmic–
Frankfurt, and click Finish.

19 On the Connections window, find
“TheTradingPit Rithmic” or “Rithmic”
(whichever you added earlier) and click
Connect. Your TTP account is now connected
to the ATAS and you are ready to trade.
If you are having issues connecting, please check if your credentials and server are correct and
if your internet connection is stable. If you are still having issues, feel free to get in touch with our

Uninstall ATAS
Follow the steps below to uninstall ATAS from your desktop.
1 If for any reason you would like to
Uninstall ATAS, start by searching for
the Control Panel on your computer
and double-click on the Control Panel
result to open the app.
2 From the options, find
Programs and click on
Uninstall a Program.

3 Now you can see all the
programs you have on your
desktop. Find ATAS Platform,
right click on it and select
Uninstall.
You have now successfully
uninstalled the ATAS platform
from your desktop.
