NVIDIA DRIVER
Previously testing unsigned Xtreeme XG drivers, my recommendation goes to installing
normal nvidia drivers stripped down. The XG drivers caused unwanted latency. Be sure
to install a stripped down version of the nvidia drivers. You don’t need the unwanted
telemetry or bloatware that comes with nvidia drivers. Use obs studio instead of
geforce experience for recording.

Some Nvidia drivers will cause latency issues with the “nvidia driver” and “direct x
driver”.
Some Nvidia drivers will also cause horrible stuttering in games. It’s a matter of finding
the best driver that suits you. I have included stripped down Nvidia drivers for w7, w8.1
and w10 in my google drive.
Install your nvidia driver method 1
Use nvcleaninstall
This will download and strip the driver for you

alpha.249085/
Install your nvidia driver method 2
Download the nvidia driver
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
Use 7zip to extract the driver files
Delete all driver folders and files apart from
Display.Driver
GFExperience
NVI2
EULA.txt
license.txt
ListDevices.txt
setup.cfg
Setup.exe
(It’s all done for you in the “18 Nvidia Drivers 430.86 Desktop WIN10 x64.7z”
archive)

Physx is not needed

The only exception being for low end systems that play the few games supporting
physx

Use block.bat to block nvidia communicating with the internet through windows firewall
When block.bat is run in a folder, it will block all files in the folder through windows

Run block.bat in the folders below
C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation
C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation
C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\
nv_dispi.inf_amd64_XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(You will need permission to access/edit this folder, be sure to set permissions back to
the original owner when you are done)

Setup msi afterburner
(It’s all there for you in the “MSI Afterburner.7z” archive)

download lastest version
https://guru3d.com/files-details/msi-afterburner-beta-download.html
I don’t recommend any other GPU overclocking software, MSI Afterburner is the
best.
No matter your GPU brand, use MSI Afterburner.
Unlock voltage and limits
Open msi afterburner and close it
Follow the instructions provided in my “MSI Afterburner.7z” archive
Edit the configs to unlock the voltage and limits
Keep an eye on everything

Temp limit(C) - max
Set a custom fan profile
I highly recommend this to stop your gpu downclocking due to temperatures under load
The default GPU fan curve never does a good job, this will help your fps stability in
games
60-70% fan speed for idle
80-100% fan speed at 60deg
Msi afterburner will need to run in the background for a custom fan profile to work
Kboost/clock lock
Use kboost skin (for older graphics cards)
Change the skin in msi afterburner and press kboost
OR
For newer graphics cards
Use the voltage curve editor to lock your clocks at the gpus max voltage
Find your gpus max voltage, do your research
To access the voltage curve editor - “Control + F”
To lock the clocks, select top voltage box - “L”
Then “apply” in Msi Afterburner
Save to a profile
Apply overclocking on system startup
MSI Afterburner does not need to run in the background after applying your
overclock!
It’s only needed in the background for the fan curve feature.
Nvidia driver bypass
Get the nvidia old driver bypass from my google drive
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1wlQPTph3jrBWAofOLKWmXHc2D4U_-fHw
If you don't want to update your drivers to play a new game
Run rename.bat before you play, when you finish playing run it again
This bypasses the nvidia control panel and the game driver check by renaming
nvapi64.dll
Be sure to run it again afterwards or you will be locked out of the nvidia control panel
settings
Unistall driver and download other version new
Get DDU & Run DDU
https://guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
If you want to change the driver version, you have to do a clean installation and erase
the driver completely with this program in safe boot
Clean uninstall all sound and all graphics drivers
Reboot in safe mode for best clean
Win key + r
Msconfig
Boot tab
Select safe boot
Apply
Restart
Clean uninstall all sound and all graphics drivers
Restart again
