Achieving my dreams scholarship
Many students have been able to fulfill their educational objectives and go on with their
lives in the manner they had envisioned with the assistance of scholarships. Because of the many
students that apply for scholarships might be challenging to get one of these awards. Because I
am now enrolled at a national institution, I would like to submit an application for the reaching
your goals scholarship. Because of my family's limited financial resources, I have been forced to
consider cutting down on my education (Page et al., 2022). Receiving this scholarship will allow
me to continue on the path that will lead to my ideal job. One must be presently enrolled in a
university course to be eligible for the Achieving Your Dreams Scholarship. In addition, the
applicant must satisfy other conditions, such as maintaining a grade point average (GPA) of at
least 3.5 and maintaining good standing in the institution.
The London School of Economics (LSE) offers a program called "International Business
and Entrepreneurship" that you can enroll in during the summer of 2023 if you decide to spend
some time studying overseas. Undergraduate students interested in global business practices and
entrepreneurialism are the target audience for this course, which runs for six weeks between the
middle of June and the end of July. The curriculum for the class is broken up into two parts: the
first focuses on gaining an awareness of the global business environment, while the second
focuses on building skills relevant to starting and running your own firm. The first section covers
a variety of themes, including foreign marketing tactics, cultural differences in the workplace,
and international commerce. The second section covers various issues, such as the production of
ideas, the evaluation of opportunities, the planning of businesses, and the presentation of ideas.
Students will get an in-depth comprehension of the topic thanks to the knowledgeable LSE
faculty members and industry professionals responsible for teaching the class. These instructors

will employ various instructional methods, including lectures, group discussions, site visits, and
case studies.
The best things from my educational experience include developing communication,
timer management, presentation, perseverance, and creative and critical thinking skills. So far, I
have achieved personal development because the educational experience has helped me get
communication skills that I can use during interactions with fellow students and outside school
(Gunnlaugson et al., 2023). Further, I have gained helpful presentation skills during college life
and after I get out searching for a job. My educational experience has also helped me realize my
passion and put effort toward achieving it. Discovering my passion has further opened my eyes,
and through that, I have established potential mentors and career paths that I can pursue after
school.
Having the chance to immerse oneself in a different culture and get a fresh point of view
on the wider world is one of the many benefits of studying in another country. Because London
is a cosmopolitan city that draws individuals from all over the globe, you may anticipate meeting
people throughout your stay who come from a variety of various ethnicities and backgrounds.
You will also see well-known monuments and historical places like the Tower of London,
Buckingham Palace, and the British Museum. The course offers participants a fantastic chance to
network with industry professionals, former LSE students, and others. You can participate in
networking events, site visits, and guest lectures, all of which will allow me to meet others who
share your interests and find mentors (Page et al., 2022). My understanding and capability in
international business and entrepreneurialism will be expanded throughout the course's
curriculum.

I will learn about international commerce, cultural nuances in the business world,
international marketing tactics, concept formulation, opportunity evaluation, company planning,
and pitching. Employers place a great value on the abilities above, and having them may increase
my chances of finding work. My curriculum vitae (CV) may be improved by participating in an
academic exchange program and finishing a summer course at a top school like the London
School of Economics (LSE). It demonstrates that I have expertise working in an international
setting, that I am versatile, and that one has a global viewpoint. This may set me apart from other
candidates in the eyes of prospective employers and raise the likelihood of being hired. A second
way that studying in another country might help me develop personally is by forcing me out of
my comfort zone, helping me become more self-reliant, and fostering the development of my
ability to find solutions to problems. Living in a different country might be an intimidating
prospect, but it also has the potential to be a very enriching experience that contributes to
personal development.
The educational experience has also aided in promoting my social relationships. Apart
from studying, I meet many people in school and interact with them in group discussions, games,
and other activities, which has expanded my social circle. Friends have uplifted me academically
and helped me identify opportunities I could not see alone (Mulyaningsih et al., 2022). I have
also learned to live with others despite their differences, preparing me to work successfully in
diverse workplaces.
Learning is encouraged for all students at LSE University thanks to the university's
faculty resources, which include student accessibility services. This is particularly beneficial for
students with disabilities. Because of this resource, I can log into my online courses from
anywhere, using my phone or laptop, even while I am away from school and need my classes. In
5
addition, I could access reading materials for my course via this resource, which saved me a trip
to the library (Sanger & Gleason, 2020). The student accessibility services guarantee that I will
have access to all of the reading materials without being singled out.
Following graduation, I want to put my degree to use in various ways that will contribute
to my personal development and the advancement of my profession. Since I already have the
foundational knowledge from my first degree, my initial thought will be to consider continuing
my education in some capacity. I can get a master's degree and then earn a doctorate in either the
same or a different subject. I also have the opportunity to work as a research assistant since many
towns are always looking for college graduates to help with research projects centered on local
concerns. According to Fadli and Akbar 2020, the university may also provide graduate research
opportunities in which I may participate and broaden my understanding of research and statistics.
I can also acquire experience in my profession by participating in an internship, which will be
beneficial to me when it comes time to look for a career. Now that I have my degree, I can put
the knowledge and experience I earned in college to use and convert my hobby into a paying job,
thanks to the training I received there. For instance, I have a deep interest in knitting and have
considered starting a channel on YouTube in which I may share my knowledge and earn money
at the same time.
If I am successful in obtaining this scholarship, I will make it a priority to complete my
degree at the national university. Because of my limited financial resources, I would not have
been able to complete the program without the assistance of the scholarship (Page et al., 2022).
Because of the scholarship, I will be able to develop my abilities. Through my interactions with
other students, I will be motivated to put in the effort necessary to complete my education and
get a degree.
