Proposal Summary

This proposal outlines a plan to extend reliable high-speed internet to Watamu, Kenya through a point-to-multipoint wireless network. It would establish a central base station in Watamu connected to existing fiber, transmitting wireless signals to customer premises equipment installed at households and businesses. This would provide at least 10 Mbps internet speeds at an initial cost of 2800 KSH for households and 5000 KSH for small businesses, paid at local stores. The network aims to promote business and tourism in Watamu by enhancing online access and services for residents and visitors.
