The document provides a detailed lesson plan for a mathematics class on place value for 4th grade students. The plan includes learning objectives, materials, procedures, and an evaluation. The procedures involve engaging activities like singing, dancing, and a matching game to help students understand place value. Students will then practice creating 4-digit numbers and assigning meanings to each digit. The teacher will explain place value concepts and check understanding before having students reflect on the value of money. An assessment with true/false and short answer questions concludes the lesson.
