that need of learners to follow. Check the learners’
Prior knowledge about the previous topic. The teacher will allow learners to
volunteer for guessing the value of a number.
                 7  6  5   4

3.Explore The teacher will give learners a group activity and they will create a numbers
that forms into 4 digits. Then, learners will create a meaning for every digit of
numbers.  Every group will choose one representative to read their works in
            front of their classmates.
            For example:
            4567
I have 4000 apples in my bag
              500 money on my wallet
              I have 60 classmates and
              7 is my lucky number.
4. Explain The teacher will discuss the topic about the place value.
              • Place value is the value of each digit in a number. In other words, the position
of a digit in a number determines its value.
               For example
the 1 in 101 represents ones
               the 5 in 350 represents 5 tens, or 50;
               the 7 in 3743 represents 7 hundreds or 700;
And the 8 in 8006 represents 8 thousands; or 8000.
5.Elaborate The teacher asks learners about their topic to make sure if they really understand
              the lesson.
              Questions:
              1. What is place value?
              2. Give me an example of numbers that represents ones, tens, hundreds,
              thousands.
6.Extend The teacher will give another activity called "Reflection value" the learners will
have a reflection about the value of money through writing it in sentences.
               Question.
              1. How will you show that you valued every money that comes to you even if it
              is in smallest amount?
7. Evaluate After the activity the teacher will provide a short quiz. Then the teacher also
provides feedback and observation if the learners meet the learning objectives.
Direction: Write true if the statement is true and false if not.
              1. The place value of 5 in 506 is hundreds
              2. The place value of 8 in 8647 thousands
              3. The place value or 3 in 234 is tens
              4. The place value of 6 in 36 is ones
              5. The place of 9 in 918 is thousands
              Direction: Answer the questions below.
              6. What is the place value of 3 in 326?
              7. What is the place value of 8 in 8072
