Long ago In the year 2019, AD a few science students were working in the science lab.
One
fateful day a vague blinding flash of light suddenly petrifies nearly all human life. The human
race was frozen in stone for 3,700 years, until April 5738.
Awakened into a world where humanity has been petrified a 17-year-old scientific genius
prodigy named Edward Ishigami has suddenly been revived to find himself in a world where all
traces of human civilization have been eroded by time. In his modern world, every human on the
planet was turned into stone after a mysterious flash of light.
Edward was the only individual not petrified at the moment. He independently began to study the
other petrified humans to determine the cause of the event, as well as the cure.
Later on, a high schooler named Sebastian Mustang awakens and finds himself lost in a world of
statues. Sebastian was one of the students in the science lab when the mysterious beam of light
struck. However, at the moment, he wasn't alone. His science-loving friend from the old world-
Edward has been up and running for over 6 months calculating and testing myriad theories to
bring back society. He had an extravagant plan in mind, to kickstart civilization with the power
of science.
Later on, Edward and his brawny friend use their dexterities to learn that revival was attainable
with nitric acid. With this discovery, they developed a compound that will enable them to
instantly revive others. This was the first creation that undoes the petrification and was known as
the Stone Formula.
They began testing the stone formula on a famous martial artist named Helios Sun and their
classmate Hinata Origami to rebuild civilization with a focus on science. In the old world, Helios
was known as the strongest person in high school and was well known for his violent behavior.
The results of the test went by flawlessly but the outcome of a particular person being revived
wasn't. Helios opposed Edward's idea of forming a new scientific civilization, Instead, he strives
to establish a new world order based on power and strength, going so far as to eradicate any
petrified adults he encounters to preclude them from interfering with his goal. Even after Edward
exported the formula for the revival compound, Helios told Edward that there is no way he can
allow him to live in the new world that he envisioned if he was going to revive everyone and
advance a scientific civilization. When he realized that Edward knew how to construct weapons
that he cannot defend against. Edward surrendered to Helios and Helios offered to kill Edward
instantly and painlessly by severing his cervical plexus. Before attacking him, he told him that he
was one of his best friends.
After knocking Edward unconscious, Helios thought he killed him but Helios was attacked by
Sebastian and Hinata who used an explosive black powder against him. Helios was caught in the
explosion and survived. He left but got a hold of the nitric acid.
With the nitric acid, believing he successfully killed Edward, Helios leaves to begin establishing
his faction in the Stone World. Helios picked the people he revived and built up his Empire of
Might. At the same time, Helios smashed multiple statues of people he did not want in his new
world. Helios soon became the emperor of his new empire.
After recovering from being unconscious, Edward discovered a tribe of people already living on
the planet and saw this as an opportunity to provoke his Kingdom of Science. These people were
originally hesitant, but eventually, Edward teaches them the benefits that science can bring to
their survival. Over time, Edward became the most trusted person in the tribe.
In the coming year, Helios met Edward and told Edward that he wanted him dead. The members
of the Kingdom of Science engaged in a war with Helios and fought him. But Helios managed to
overwhelm his enemies easily.
During the war, after buying some time for Edward, one of the members of the Kingdom of
Science was able to create nitroglycerin. Edward created a paper airplane dipped in nitroglycerin
and sent it flying into a tree nearby, causing an explosion. By seeing the damage that Edward's
weapon can cause and seeing that all his weapons are dipped in nitroglycerin, Helios decides to
surrender to Edward.
After the closing victory, The Kingdom of Science uncovered a monumental secret.
Edward's adopted father had left precious metals which can be used as catalysts to mass-produce
revival fluid on the nearby island which is now inhabited by a tribe known as the Petrification
Kingdom, who possess the device used to petrify the world so long ago.
