Dear Sir/Madam,

Assalam-o-Alaikum, hopefully you will receive this letter in best of your health.

The Mechanical Engineering Program at University of Engineering & Technology Taxila is one of the pioneer
programs which has produced top quality engineers serving at national and international level. The engineering
education at MED, UET Taxila is providing adequate knowledge and skills to our graduates. In this regard, the
exposure to industry would help our students to realize actual problems of local industry.
Being the Chairman of Mechanical Engineering Department UET Taxila, I would like to highlight that we are
few of those Mechanical Engineering Departments which have high ratio of foreign qualified seasoned faculty,
state of the art labs and curriculum to meet the industry needs. Our engineering program has the mission to
fulfill the needs of the relevant industry by producing graduates having sound knowledge and skills. We need
that our students should have enough practical skills to meet the recent challenges faced by industry. Regarding
this, internship is a useful to experience for engineering students to experience the actual requirements of
industry. It is need of time and without your support, it is impossible. It would be highly appreciated if you
support us to overcome this gap between theoretical and practical knowledge through internship.
