Subject: Clarification regarding remittance of Penalty.
Ref: 1. Examination Notification dated 16.04.2015.
2. Principals meeting held on 17.04.2015, wherein it was
resolved to print single application.
3. Examination Application issued on 28.04.2015.
4. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor’s Orders dated 19.05.2015,
It is hereby brought to the notice of all Principals of affiliated law
Colleges, that the Penalty of Rs.100/- or Rs.1500/- is per semester
examination and not per application as issued in Notification referred
above at Srl. No.1.
The Notification was issued prior to the decision taken to print
single application. Since June 2010, Karnataka State Law University is
charging penalty per semester only and there is no change in this
procedure.
In case lesser penalty is remitted by any college, the Principal of
the college is hereby informed to rectify it and remit the correct
penalty on or before commencement of Examination.
