This guide is part of the Tiktok region
change method and will assist you in reaching your desired audience.
This is the method I have been using for more than a year now on multiple of my
Tiktok accounts. I run a Shopify dropship store, and I prefer to get organic reach
to a US audience. It is working as it should.
So, let’s get started.
Please note there is just my way of setup. There might be other solutions and setup
people use. However, I have tested a few and this one works best.
Not all steps are needed. All are optional, but recommended for bet performance.
For example, if you had NO TikTok account banned or Shadowbanned in the past on the
same phone, you don't need to make factory reset settings.
In general, the best way is to use a dedicated smartphone for this setup. It can be
old one, just be sure that you can install TikTok app.
I will assume you prefer to use a brand new Tiktok account, so I’ll show you the
whole process and how I do it.
1. Prepare your phone
You will need an Andorid (I demonstrate how to do this on an Andorid) or an Apple,
as well as a sim card.You also need a WiFi connection.
I always bring an extra phone that I don’t use frequently because we’re going to
reset and delete its content.So, don’t use your main phone.
1.1 Remove any existing SIM card.
1.2 Make Factory reset settings
What I always do is make a factory reset first. The reason behind this is that we
want to get rid of all the old information our phone has about us, including its
content, settings, cookies, etc. TikTok has all your device information, and even
some trace of your previous “real” location can flag your account. There are
plenty of guides on how to do it. You might check one of this videos on Youtube.
After the reset, Android will set itself up again.
Make sure that Region/Country: United States and
Language: English is selected: English (United States)
Let the phone complete its setup.
1.3 Preparing an email account for TikTok registration
It is now time to choose which email address you will use to sign up for TikTok.
Either use Gmail or simply create emails on services like proton.me. I would always
use a new email address just in case it had nothing to do with a previous version
of TikTok.
You can also make use of your old Google account on your phone if you prefer, but I
would not recommend this optionsince it might be connected to your previous TikTok
account.
1.4 Spoof GPS location
Then go to the Play Store and search for the app “Fake GPS location” and install
it.
If you haven’t got Google Play store account ready you can download it directly
from Apkpure here. To install it from Apkpure you might need allow Andorid apps
from unknown sources. Moire on this is explained on this post.
Then, in the app, enable location change and set it somewhere in the United States,
for example, as shown in the image. Make sure that you enable location change in
the app.
1.5 Insert SIM card
Now take your sim card that you have received by mail and insert it in your phone.
Let me summarize, why Sim card play such an important role in the method.
TikTok can read data from a SIM card. The biggest factor is its “country of
origin.” that fit your audience. If you order a SIM card for the USA, TikTok will
be able to read from the card that your main location is the USA. There are a few
more parameters (like how its phone number is written) on this specific SIM card
that make it ideal. We provide TikTok with the information it requires to serve us
the content we desire… So, for that reason, we don’t need any active phone numbers
on SIM.
1.6 Install TikTok app
You won’t download TikTok through the Google Play Store. Reason for this is that
Google Play Store might serve you localized version of TikTok app. We don’t what
that. We need global version, US version.
Instead, you’ll use APKPure to get the TikTok APK file. Get the APP here. To
install it from Apkpure you might need allow Andorid apps from unknown sources.

1.8 Sign up for Tiktok Account
Use email from step 1.3 and sign for a new account on TikTok.
1.7 ALL DONE
That’s all there is to it.You will start to see, for example, US creators and be
able to notice the app is a bit different than, say, the European version. You will
notice multiple voices are available for text-to-speech.
1.8 For IOS users
Apple IOS users can follow the same steps.
You can use your existing Apple ID and just download Tiktok App from official
source.
If you had had previously banned TikTok on same Apple ID, then I suggest creating
new one .

2.0 Possibe roadblocks
If you had many TikTok accounts on your phone before, then your account might be
shadowbanned. Tiktok can read the IMEI of your phone. Solution. Insert one SIM card
into another tray if you have a dual SIM card.or gogole for “change phone IMEI.” It
can be done or tried on another phone.
The best solution is: You should use an iPhone instead of an Android phone because
the Apple policies don’t allow the transfer of the IMEI and other sensitive data to
app owners. If it is true that IMEIs have been banned.
3.0 Optional steps
For those who prefer to be even more “safe,” there are some optional steps. I don’t
follow them myself. I will not hurt the method, but in theory, they can improve it.
3.1 Step 1
For instance, if you want to move to France, you’ll have to switch to French as
your native language. It’s a straightforward process. Here are the steps:
Open your TikTok app.
Tap the “Profile” button in the bottom right corner. It leads you to your profile.
Click the menu icon in the top-right corner.
Select “Settings and privacy.”
Select “Content Preferences” under “Content & Activity.”
Select “Video Languages.”
Tap “Add language.”
Select the language in which you want to see content (English, for example), and
click “Done.”
There is nothing wrong with getting 1 or 2 videos outside the USA if they are
famous; it happens. I, for example, get 1 or 2 German or Spanish videos every 100-
200 videos or so, because they’re famous.
3.1 Step 2
Registering an account with a US phone number instead of an email address.
If you decide to use this option, I would strongly suggest that you only use a non-
voip, or so-called “real sim,” wireless number. I can hook you up if you need
suppliers.
3.2 Step 3
Using US IP
If you decide to use it, make sure it is only a 5G, LTE, or 4G private proxy or
VPN. or, in some cases, if you find someone with a private residential line. Don’t
ever use a public proxy or VPN.

7.11.2022 (no impact confirmed as of yet)
Instead of downloading the TikTok app from Google Play, download the installation
file (TikTok.apk) from the Internet here. In this way, you will be able to bypass
Google Play localization. This might affect where the content gets shown.
UPDATE: 19.1.2023
Set phone timezone to EST time.For getting high engagement rates i suggest to post
on following times (EST timezone):
Monday at 6 a.m., 10 a.m., and 10 p.m.
Tuesday at 2 a.m., 4 a.m., and 9 a.m.
Wednesday at 7 a.m., 8 a.m., and 11 p.m.
Thursday at 9 a.m., 12 p.m., and 7 p.m.
Friday at 5 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Saturday at 11 a.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m.
Sunday at 7 a.m., 8 a.m., and 4 p.m.
SUGGSTIONS FOR NEW TIKTOK ACCOUNTS
For new Tiktok accounts, same rules apply as account would be created with regular
sim card… Just using TikTok Sim card will not get your post going viral… Far from
this… You will need to make sure your content is good enough, trendy, unique ...
Just like regular TikTok account. In general, I would suggest warming up account
a bit… Go to your FYP start exploring videos in your niche. Watch them, engage,
like, comment for day.
Then I suggest posting some funny videos For example if you are in pet niche… Post
funny cat video… Just to get TikTok algorithm running on your account and to gather
some data.
