This is to state that Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. proposes to work in accordance with the terms
conditions for ang
laying water supply pipe line i.e. 2 pipes of 110mm diameter each through casing oß
HDPE of 200 mm diameter each across the six
laning of Pune - Satara National Highway 4 a
chainage Km. 794.425 for crossing National Highway 4 at Gut No.1340 and 1341 of Village
Shirwal, Taluka - Khandala, District- Satara. In this connection we hereby undertake as follows:
1. We shall not cause any damage to other utility and if damaged caused then, we agree to pay the
losses either to National Highway Authority of India or to the concerned agency.
2. We agree to the Bank Guarantee
renew
of Rs.1,00,000/- for each pipeline upto the copl
work.
3. We are confirming to all the standard conditions of National
Highway Authority
guidelines and we will take all the actions as prescribed in Ministry Circular No RVNH
of Ina ts
34066/7/2003 S&R (B) dated 17/09/2003 by the Ministry
of Road
Transport and Highvray
ensure conformity of these noms.
4. We undertake to shift the water supply line and when
as required by National HighwayAutlhörity
of India at our own cost.
We agree the shift the water supply pipe line as and when required by NationalHigtwy
Authority of India due to 6 laning/widening of National Highway.
6. We indemnify National Highway Authority of India against all damages and claims.
7 We agree to manage the Traffic movement on the NH-4 during laying water supply pipe line i.e.
2 pipes of 1Omm diameter each through casing of HDPE of200mm diameter each across the six
laning of Pune Satara National Highway 4 at chainage Km 794.425 for crossing National
Highway -4 at Gut No.1340 and 1341 of Village- Shirwal, Taluka - Khandala, District- Satara.
8 We agree to pay the reasonable amount if claimed by the concessionaire with the supporting
documents before completion of our work, if claim arising out of the work of laying of Water
Supply pipe line of our Company.

9. We shall seek the approval of National Highway Authority of India before undertaking any work
of installation, shifting or repairs or alterations to the showing water supply pipeline located in
the National Highway right-of-ways.
10. We agree to pay the expenses if incurred by National Highway Authority of India while repairing
any damage caused to the National Highway by the laying, maintenance or shifting of the water
supply pipe line.
W e agree to move the utility line for any work improvement or repairs to the road if carried out
by National Highway Authority of India within a reasonable time (not exceeding 60 days
intimation given by them to us).
12. Certificate from the applicant in the following format.
i. Laying of water supply pipe line will not have any deleterious effect on any of the bridge
components and roadway safety for traffic; and
ii. For 6 laning "We do undertake that we will relocate service road/approach road/utilities at
our own cost notwithstanding the permission granted within such time as will be
stipulated by National Highway Authority of India" for fiuture six laning or other
development.
