The goal of the intramural sports program is to give the whole Goldenstate

College community the chance to learn via participation in structured activities. In order
to achieve these goals, the Intramural Sports Program provides a wide range of team,
individual, and dual activities. We also work to integrate participants socially into athletic
settings and to promote a spirit of sportsmanship and fair play among participants and
spectators. In order to promote competitiveness, fair play, and good sportsmanship at
all skill levels, from beginner to advanced leagues, Goldenstate College Intramural
Sports Competition has set rules.

The intramurals for the Goldenstate College celebration for 2022 began with a
sports parade at 7:30 AM November 14, 2022. Athletes of each unit and college in their
respective sports uniforms walked around with their yell, Drum, Lyre, and their Muse.
The Intramurals began with a parade at Lion Beach.
There were thousands of Goldenstate College students present when the parade
got underway. There is a leader to help each group with their lines and to keep an eye
on their students while the procession of each group parades on. Unexpectedly, a lot of
students fainted during the parade. However, because Goldenstate College was ready,
the medical staff moved quickly to assist the fainted. We also have our CRIM students
where they are the ones who guide the students in crossing the road. While they were
students walking they would shout yells encouraging each division to be heard. They
are enjoying themselves even though the sun is hot, they don't seem to feel anything
because of their fun and after a few years it became a pandemic and now they are
coming back and having fun and that is also the experience of the first timers in this
intrams event. Up to the parade's conclusion, the students complied with all activities,
and there were no tumultuous occurrences.
The sport event started with a foot parade of the different divisions and delegates
from the four competing units around the Goldenstate College. The four teams are:
Division One - The Centipede (Red), Division Two - Blue Hornets ( Blue), Division Three
- Scorpion Archers (Green), Division Four - The Black Tarantula (Yellow).
And was followed by an Opening Program at the Lagao Campus. The students
are growing more and more enthusiastic about the events that will take place up until
the start of the program. They are more likely to observe, applaud, and take pleasure in
the next event and each division's players are prepared to face off against the other
divisions in our school. The students are now waiting for this to happen. Naturally, our
teachers don't fall behind because they also take on the role of coaches for each sport
in which the students participate. The event was also fun for the teachers. Right after
the parade was the torch lighting and banner raising. At exactly 1:00 o’clock in the
afternoon, the program was started. Following the presentation, the judges were
introduced, the criteria were given, and then the modern dance competition got
underway. So let's have fun and wish each of our supported divisions luck, regardless of
which division you cheer for.
Later that day, different individual and sports events were played in Day 2.
