   I. Basics of the annual financial statements
   The annual financial statements of Johnson Matthey Management GmbH, Sulzbach (Taunus) (entered in the Frankfurt am Main register
   court, HRB 103410) were prepared in accordance with the provisions of Sections 242 ff. HGB, taking into account the supplementary
   provisions for corporations (Sections 264 ff. HGB) as well as according to the supplementary regulations of the GmbH law.
   The reporting company is a small corporation within the meaning of Section 267 HGB. The company also falls below the size criteria of
   § 267a and is therefore also a micro-corporation.
   II. Accounting and valuation methods
   Receivables from affiliated companies and bank balances are valued at their nominal value.
   The provisions take into account all identifiable risks and uncertain obligations in the amount of the settlement amount necessary

   according to prudent business judgement.
   III. Other disclosures
   Disclosures with regard to Section 292 HGB
   There is no legal obligation to prepare consolidated financial statements and a group management report, since Johnson Matthey
   Management GmbH and its subsidiaries are in the accounts prepared by Johnson Matthey Plc., UK, as of March 31, 2022 and in
   accordance with Section 292 HGB-exempting consolidated financial statements and group management report are included.
   The consolidated financial statements of Johnson Matthey Plc., UK, are accounted for and evaluated in accordance with international
   accounting standards and regulations (IFRS) as applicable in the European Union.
   The consolidated financial statements of Johnson Matthey Plc., UK, are filed in English in the electronic Federal Gazette.
   Name and registered office of the parent company that prepares the consolidated financial statements
   Johnson Matthey Plc., UK, is also the parent company that prepares the consolidated financial statements for the largest scope of
   consolidation.
   Number of employees
   The company has no employees.
