I. Narrative Report

Nagyantok High School believes that its learners have the right to

learn in a supportive, caring and safe environment without fear of being

bullied, have the right to survive, to be safe, to belong, to be heard, to

receive adequate care and to grow up I a protective environment.

The school also believes that it is better to take action before harm

occurs, so our school head Ma’am Maricel Gatdula initiated a seminar that

concerns about the said matter. The seminar was facilitated by our very own

Guidance Councilors Teachers Sir Val Lewis San Pedro and Sheela

Fernandez. They invited Ma’am Gezelle anne v. Garcia, Provincial link-

DSWD Zambales to talk about anti-bullying to our learners and Positive

Discipline for our Parents.

The seminar started at 1:00pm and ended at exactly 3:00pm. The

main participants were grade 9 learners together with their guardians. It

was begun with an opening prayer led by our Master Teacher II, Sir Jose A.

Leyco. The seminar went well and we hope for the great contribution and

effectiveness of the learnings we got. If a school is well disciplined and

organized, it can minimize the occurrence of bullying. When schools and

communities work together to embrace policies that promote safe and child-

friendly environment, we can invest more in every child and create the

future we all deserve.
