- literature has a large part that affects the readers, just like me, when I was
young, my mother used to read fables with beautiful lessons. as a child I thought
that my mother read to me only a simple character of animals. Unbeknownst to
me, my mother has been raising me with sermons that are conveyed through
figurative stories that teach me knowledge, character, and manners. it's just like
the story, he is not that clear in my memory but as far as I know "Sino ang tunay
mong kaaway?" is the name of the book/story. it happened that my mother talked
to me, because as a child you and your brothers would have a little fight because
of the toys. during the reading and when it was over he was asking me "who is
your real enemy?" He gradually explained to me that our enemy is ourselves
because of our own decisions. it was my decision to fight my brother that's why I
must teach myself how to fight my own enemy from within. growing up, reading
has had a big impact on me because it silences how you think and feel, act and
speak. the book is like a friend who teaches you about things you miss. and this
is one thing I am thankful to have learned from my mother.
