Sir/Madam;
In line with DepEd’s continuing professional development and progress of
the newly hired teachers based on the principle of lifelong learning and the
Department’s commitment to the development of new and beginning teachers and
in consonance to our school’s objectives to improve the level of competence of
school personnel through “Enabling” activities, this office announces the conduct
of a school-level Teacher Induction Program for newly-hired teachers and
teachers with 3 years or less experience.
The objectives of the said TIP are as follows:
A. assist new teachers improve practice, learn professional responsibilities
and ultimately positively affect student learning;
B. elevate the teaching profession and foster a collaborative learning
community for all teachers, and
C. achieve a higher rate of retention, as new teachers find themselves in an
environment that cultivates continual growth and success.
Participants to the series of TIP webinars slated on October 22, 29, and
November 5 are the following:
