ouacco “ancis Tear] The 2008 model year NPRINGR truck, the 4HKT-TC
"0 155 iline 4 cylinder engine replaces the 4HEI-TC engine
for advanead oxnaust omissicn countries, The 4HKI-TC
engine has been newly developed on the basis of
previous 4HET-TC engine, with adcitional foatures
Including the employment of four valve mechanism per
2 cylinder that are oporatod via a single camshatt
‘common rail fuel injection system, water-cooled exhaust
(a5 re-ckeulaion (EGR) system, and the change of
combustion chamber form. Tho. larger engine
tlsplacement and the common rail fuel injection system
have resulted in an inereage both In maximum output
and torque, and met Euro 3 emission regulation
standard. Most conspicuous itams are listed bolow.
