RESOLUTION REGARDING USAGE OF AIR-CONDITIONING UNIT IN CLASS

12 – ARCHIMEDES S.Y. 2023 - 2024

August 25, 2023

We, the undersigned parents and guardians of students attending Angeles City Science High School
hereby agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this resolution regarding the usage of the air-
conditioning unit in the classroom. Recognizing the importance of providing a comfortable learning
environment for our children, we collectively commit to contributing to the installation, maintenance,
and operational costs of the air-conditioning unit.

Deposit Fee:
We understand that a deposit fee is required to ensure the responsible usage and upkeep of the air-
conditioning unit. Each parent and guardian shall provide a refundable deposit of PHP 150.00. This
deposit will be returned to the respective parents or guardians upon the conclusion of the school year.

Monthly Dues:
We acknowledge that the operational costs of the air-conditioning unit, including electricity
consumption and regular maintenance, will be ongoing. To cover these expenses, we agree to pay a
monthly due of PHP 200.00. These dues will be collected at the beginning of each month and will be
used solely for the purpose of maintaining a comfortable and conducive learning environment for our
children.

Usage Guidelines:
We understand that the air-conditioning unit should be used responsibly and efficiently. It should be
turned off when the classroom is not in use, and windows and doors should be closed when the unit is
operational. We also agree to ensure that our children are educated about the importance of conserving
energy while using the air-conditioning unit.

Administration and Oversight:


The HRPTA will oversee the collection of deposit fees and monthly dues. Transparent records of all
financial transactions related to the air-conditioning unit will be maintained and made accessible to all
contributing parents and guardians.

We, the undersigned, hereby agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth in this resolution to
ensure the successful implementation and ongoing usage of the air-conditioning unit in the classroom.
By working together, we aim to create a comfortable and productive learning environment for our
children.
