                                                           The Important Stuff
Applique Size: Approximately 7” tall                      This pattern is for the appliques/items shown in the
                                                           picture - it includes all** applique pieces, or pieces
                                                           that are shown in the picture, even if there are

Supplies Needed For This Pattern
Yarn -I personally love Caron One Pound and use it
for nearly all of my patterns. However, my patterns
are written so that you can use any weight 4 yarn           How This Pattern Pack Is Written
that you want. You can even change the yarn and
the hook up for different sizes as well.
   ●   Ivory, Tan, Black, White, Light Pink, Medium Pink,      ●   You can change up your hook size if you wish
       Dark Pink, Light Green                                      to change the size of the applique. Otherwise,
   ●   Scissors                                                    it will end up about 7” tall.
   ●   Hook - F 3.75mm hook
   ●   Yarn Needle
       Optional: Glue Gun/Glue sticks                          ●   I glue all of my appliques together, however
                                                                   you can choose to stitch them together if you
                                                                   prefer. Glueing has been my method of
                                                                   choice over the last several years.
Stitch Abbreviations
   ●   CH - Chain
   ●   SS - Slip Stitch
   ●   SC - Single Crochet
   ●   HDC - Half Double Crochet                             ●   The CH 2 at the beginning of each row never
   ●   DC - Double Crochet                                       counts as the first stitch in my patterns
   ●   SC2TG - Single Crochet 2 Together
       (decrease)
   ●   HDC2TG - Half Double Crochet 2 Together

**NOTE** If there are any of these stitches that you
are unsure of how to do, just search on Google or
YouTube how to make them. There are tons of videos
that show how each of these stitches are done, and
can be very helpful!

 The Floral Llama                                  Repeat from * all the way around. It does not
                                                   end evenly - that is totally fine. Just SS to join.
                                                   Tie off. (I ended up with 17 shells. Depending
                                                   on how you decide to end it, you could end
                                                   with 16 shells. Either way will work)
                                                   Nose
                                                   Using tan, make a magic circle, CH 2, and DC
                                                   10. SS to join. Ch 2, do not turn
                                                   Round 2: 2Dc in each stitch around. SS to join.
                                                   Tie off (20)
                                                   Ears - Make 2
                                                   Using ivory, CH 11. 2SC in 2nd from hook. SC
                                                   in next 2. HDC in next 3. DC in next 3. 5DC in
                                                   last. Now work around to bottom of Ch. DC in
                                                   next 3. HDC in next 3. SC in last 3. SS to join.
                                                   Tie off.
                                                   Using tan, CH 8. SS in 2nd from hook. SC in
                                                   next 2. HDC in next 3. 5HDC in last. Now
Head
                                                   work around to bottom of CH. HDC in next 3.
                                                   SC in next 2. SS in last and to join. Tie off.
Using ivory, make a magic circle, CH 2, and
DC 12. SS to join. (12). CH 2, do not turn

Round 2: 2Dc in each stitch around (24). SS
                                                   Using ivory, CH 14. Dc in 3rd from hook and

Reattach yarn as shown in pic
                                                            Eyes - Make 2
                                                            Using black, make a magic circle, CH 1, and

                                                            HDC 8. SS to join. Tie off leaving long tail to
                                                            stitch on eyelashes.
Around each DC post from row, do 4HDC, SS.
Repeat all the way down. You should end with

8 shells. Tie off. Repeat this step on other side
as well. See pics for details.
                                                            Large Flower (please note that the flower in
                                                            picture is made with 2 different colors for
                                                            ease of instruction. You can use whatever
                                                            color you want)
                                                    Using dark pink, make a magic circle and HDC 12. SS
                                                    to join.
                                                    CH 3. Skip next stitch and SS in next. *Chain 3, Skip
                                                    next, SS in next. Repeat from * all the way around.
                                                    You should have 6 loops now. (6 loops)
                                                    In first loop, (SC, HDC, 3DC, HDC, SC). Repeat this in
                                                    all 6 loops. Ss to join Ch 2. Now flip the flower over
                                                    - you’ll be working on the back side of the flower.

SS around the post between petals (from back, as
shown in pic) then ch 4 then SS around post between
next set of petals. Repeat this all the way around. (6
loops)

You’re creating more loops for more petals to attach        Small Head Flowers - Make 2 light pink, 1 dark pink
to. In each petal loop (SC, HDC, 5D, HDC, SC) SS to          CH 3, in last CH from hook, *2DC, SS, CH 2. Repeat
join, tie off (6 petals)                                    from * 4 more times, pull tight and tie off.
                                                            Using dark pink, CH 2, and SS in last CH from hook.
                                                            This is the center of the flowers (make 2).
                                                            Using light pink. CH2 and ss in last CH from hook.
                                                            Assembly
Using light pink make a magic circle and CH 1. HDC
6. SS to join. Tie off. THis is the center of the flower.
Leaves - Make 10
Using light green, CH 10.. SS in 2nd from hook. SC in
next 3. HDC in next 3. DC in next. 5DC in last. Now
work around to bottom of CH. 1 DC. HDC in next 3.
SC in next 3. SS in last to join. Tie off.
Head Rose: Using medium pink, CH 45.. 3HDC in 2nd
from hook. SS in next. *3HDC in next. SS in next.
Repeat from * all the way down. Tie off. Then roll into
a rose shape.
