Note: For H45, H45s, H50, H50s, 70, 70s, H70, and H70s hammers, adding 1 mm (0.04 inch)
shims increases low pressure by 300 kPa (44 psi). This also increases the operating pressure by
800 kPa (116 psi).
Note: For 63, H63, and H63s hammers, adding 1 mm (0.04 inch) shims increases low pressure by
300 kPa (44 psi). This also increases the operating pressure by 1000 kPa (145 psi).
Note: For 100, 100s, H100, and H100s hammers, adding 1 mm (0.04 inch) shims increases low
pressure by 300 kPa (44 psi). This also increases the operating pressure by 1300 kPa (189 psi).

Note: The shim thickness is the recommended specification for setting the control valve. This must
be checked by measuring the pressure in the low pressure circuit as you operate the hammer.
Refer to the Testing and Adjusting section of the Service Manual, "Control Valve (Operating
Pressure) - Test and Adjust".
