I am a science stream student in class 5 Syafie from SMK


AGAMA TUN AHMADSHAH. In the past few weeks,I have read about 5 books.The books
called Sneaking away,The adventures of Malim Deman,Secret of the Nights
Ponies,School friends and my favourite book called Whatever After Sink or swim.

This book was written by Sarah Mlynowski. Sarah Mlynowski is the daughter of the
romance writer Elissa Ambrose. She graduated with an Honors degree in English
literature from McGill University.She is best known for her New York Times best-
selling series Whatever After.

This series continues to give us a fresh new twist to an old fairy tale. Without
being preachy, Sarah deftly unmasks the stereotypes and cringe-worthy bits. Then
Abby and Jonah work together to bring about a better ending to the story. It is the
small details that add so much to the enjoyment for the reader, like Abby's jeweler
box featuring new images after she has visited a tale,

It's a story about Abby and Jonah, who are always messing up fairy tales. It all
started when Abby and her family went for a holiday to Chicago and met her grandma,
Nana. Sadly, they needed to cancel the plan because her parents were too busy with
their works as lawyers. Abby felt on cloud nine.

Out of the blue, her brother Jonah gave, an idea of going to the fairy tales and
promised not to mess up any fairy tales again. The promise was just a promise. When
they arrived, they were drowning in the sea until they realised that they were in
the Little Mermaid story.

Along the exploration, Abby and Jonah felt unsatisfied with the ending. They had
no choice but to try to rewrite it. Let's just say the original story did not end
happily so they need to convince the mermaid to keep her tail away from Nelly.
Besides, they need to plan a royal wedding for the prince and the mermaid to
provide a happy ending for the mermaid. But the prince doesn't care and the little
mermaid doesn't like it. She breaks up the wedding and she makes a deal with the
sea witch. Abby and Jonah take a potion that can make humans breathe under water
for ten hours. They take the potion and go under the water. They find the little
mermaid's sisters and father and go to the sea witch. She gives the little
mermaid's voice back for a date with the little mermaid's father. With the happy
ending, they could reach home safe and sound.

I liked this book because the little mermaid did what she wanted to and didn't
care what other people wanted. She went to the sea and she got legs, but no voice
and she was okay with that and I like how she is brave and kind. I think that this
is a great book for girls and people who are brave and know what it is like to make
huge changes. You should read this book.The writings in this story and the whole
series are excellent.

From here we learned that people shouldn't be too obsessed with someone who will
never appreciate you. In other words, just be yourself.
