WHAT IS A BIO-DIGESTER TANK??
Factors determining the solution are:
• The answer to putting a stop to unsanitary habits, like open defecation, lies in composting toilets known as
Biotoilets, with a Biodigester and DRDO bacteria, a microbial blend. Globally, sanitation and hygiene remain ➢Number of users and flushing per day
heavily compromised, especially in third world countries. Lack of functioning toilets as well as less number of
toilets overall, have led to open defecation and diseases, including cholera, diarrhea and polio. It’s also a threat ➢Space availability

• Bio-digester technology quintessentially consists of a microbial culture, DRDO Certified bacteria’s which
comprises of a consortium of beneficial microbial strains. These microbes can effectively degrade complex ➢Drainage line if any

• The Bio-digester system is divided into four components:
1. First chamber is for separating solids and liquids, and superior microbes to degrade organic pollutants.
