Lipa City’s power supply Is served by the Batangas Il Electric Cooperative
(BATELEC If), a sem-govemment company located at Barangay Antipolo del
Norte, wiich ‘in tum gets iis supply of energy from the National Power
Corporation.
Lipa experiences power shortage because of the increasing number of
subscribers. Electric posts and lines are outdated that even the slightest blow of
wind causes power failures.
