Past Simple Goldilocks

Once upon a time there were three bears: Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear. They lived in a big wood. Mama Bear cooked porridge for the family and put it in bowls for each bear. The bears went for a walk to let the porridge cool. While they were gone, Goldilocks snuck into the wood and found the bears' house. She ate Baby Bear's porridge, sat in the chairs, and fell asleep in Baby Bear's bed. When the bears returned home, they discovered Goldilocks asleep in the bed. Goldilocks woke up and ran away, scared of the bears.

Past simple: Goldilocks and the three bears:

Once upon a time there (be) ___________three bears: huge Papa Bear, ordinary Mama Bear
and tiny little Baby Bear. They (live) __________in a great big wood.

One day, ordinary Mama Bear (cook) _____________ a delicious porridge for her family and
(put) _________________ it into bowls: a huge bowl for huge Papa Bear, an ordinary bowl for
ordinary Mama Bear and a tiny little bowl for tiny little Baby Bear. To give the porridge
some time to cool down, the three bears (go) ______________ for a walk.

Near the great big wood, there (live) _________________ a little girl called Goldilocks.
She (be) _______________ not allowed to go into the wood. But one day, she (sneak)
__________________ out of the house and (run) ______________ into the great big wood.
After a while, she (come) _______________ to the house of the three bears. She (knock)
