SCRIPT
It will start panning down from the moon/sky and will
start tracking a boy who has just separated from his
friends, he will be on his phone trying to find the
quickest way home but as he walks past an alley way his
phone will show that it is a shortcut and will get him
home a lot quicker, however the alley way is dark and
creepy (SPOOKY NOISES) the boy (James) has to decide
whether or not he is walking down it.
While standing deciding he will look down the alley
towards the camera
JAMES
What’s the worst that can happen
We will then follow him from behind as he walks into the
dark alley, he will walk cautiously into the darkness
disappearing from the camera view.
It will then cut to in front of the boy walking and a
bird will flutter above him (add noise) and scare him, he
will look up all scared but will be relieved when he
realises it’s just a bird, he will take a minute but will
then continue, as he walks on he will get his phone out
and turn on the torch continuing down the alley slowly.
JAMES
Fuck this
A noise from behind (a whoosh as if someone walks past)
He glances over his shoulder checking behind him
sheepishly saying
JAMES
Who’s there?
He keeps walking now quicker, when he notices a figure in
front of him, he freezes and rubs his eyes and the figure
disappears, he now starts panicking and thinking he’s
seeing things
He goes to check his phone but the battery has died and
his torch goes off (phone dying noise)
He panics that his phone has died
JAMES
NO NO NO
As he looks down at his phone a figure will walk in
front of him and again there will be no one there.
JAMES
FUCK THIS
He turns around and starts walking back the way he came,
when all of a sudden, he is presented with two different
paths he then realises he doesn’t know which way he came
from.
He gets his phone out hitting it trying to turn it back
on for directions but it won’t work.
He will then hear what sound like footsteps behind him,
He turns and sees a shadowy figure which disappears back
into the darkness. He gets scared but decides his best
option is to continue down the alley, he starts walking
very quickly hoping to avoid the figure.
JAMES
Why would you go down a dark alley?
He says to himself angrily, still walking fast.
He then walks past the camera revealing a figure behind
him. After standing there for a second, he too will walk
past the camera.
The camera will then follow James as if the camera is the
figure, you will hear his breath loudly as he get closer
and closer to James, when the camera will then stop as
James snaps his head round looking behind him.
The camera will then go to behind James and there will be
no one there but when James turns back around the tall
dark figure will be stood directly over him.
JAMES
(whispers) oh shit
As James faints to the ground
When James comes back round he will be on the floor but
now he’s back at the start of the alleyway and the entrance is
blocked off so he has to go down the alley again and face the
figure again. This time after thinking for a minute he decides
to run down the alley as that’s his best bet.
First the camera will take the place of James and will look
as if it’s his view as he runs (heavy breathing noises)
Next the camera will track him from behind running with him
when the same figure will jump out in front of him wielding a
weapon and will hit James across the face.
Again, James will wake up at the beginning of the alley
JAMES
What is this
He then starts walking back down the alley checking every
corner and behind every tree. The camera will take the role of
the figure whilst hidden in the trees as James walks towards him
Then holding the camera below the camera, he will shoot
James
But just the bang will be heard as the scene will cut back
to James waking up again at the beginning of the alley panicked
and checking for a gunshot wound, after not finding one he will
look up at the alley realising he’s trapped in this loop.
This time he decides not to move and just stays at the end
of the alley.
After a few seconds of staying still he look up and notice
the figure standing there and as he takes his eyes off the figure
it gets closer but doesn’t move when he looks at it.
