UNACCOMPANIED MINORS
Unaccompanied minors between the age of 5 and 11 years, who are traveling without a parent or guardian of 12 years or older, Orca Airways limits the amount of under age minors to a maximum of 3 per flight. Parents must fill out an unaccompanied minor form when checking in with all appropriate information such as: Children are charged as full fare adults bookings Childs Age / Name / Sex Departure / Arrival Flight Number / Time / Date Name / Address / Telephone / Signature of person dropping off minor Name / Address / Telephone / Signature of person who is picking up minor
The parent of guardian is responsible for the child until boarding of the aircraft, at that time the Pilot in Command will then take charge of the minor. The person dropping off the unaccompanied minor must remain available for contact for the duration time of the flight in-case a return to the origin is required. If a child is under five years of age, Orca Airways CANNOT accept them on board unaccompanied. Ages five to eleven inclusive can be accepted provided they are accompanied to the airport and attended by a responsible adult until boarding time; proof that they will be met at their destination is required by ground personnel. Unaccompanied minors must not be seated in rows adjacent to an emergency exit. Cabin crews are responsible for the childs actions during the flight. During a delay or cancellation, the child is the responsibility of the Pilot and/or Customer Service Agent. Upon arrival the Pilot will release the child to the parent / guardian only after a validated by picture ID. The parent / guardian must then sign the Unaccompanied Minor Form to release the child into the custody of the parent / guardian. The child is only allowed to go with the party dedicated on the UM form, even if the child recognizes another party there to greet him/her upon arrival. An unaccompanied minor CANOT travel under a weather advisory, if the plane has to land before its destination, Orca Airways cannot be responsible for accommodations and care of the unaccompanied minor.

The carrier here-in undertakes as follows: The carrier will present the unaccompanied minor to the person noted on the Request For Carriage Form and the carrier will request proper identification from such person, no exceptions. In the event of a delay or misconnection the carrier will contact parent/guardian or person meeting on arrival. The carrier will not assume any financial or guardianship responsibility for unaccompanied minors beyond those applicable to an adult passenger. Unaccompanied Minor Request for carriage.
